Awards and recognitions
During its operation, Marina Portorož has received numerous recognitions.

Received the Meteorological tower (Meteorološki stolp) award for the best marina in Yugoslavia. |
| 1987 | The German magazine ‘Skipper’ chose it for the best European marina. Received the Tourist carnation (Turistični nagelj) award. The general Association of accommodation and food services and tourism of Slovenia awarded recognition and a golden plaque for invigorating the tourist offer. The Tourist Association awarded the ‘Diploma for achieved results in advancement of quality in tourism’. |
| 1997 | Received recognition for its contribution to the organisation of tennis tournaments of the Istrian Riviera. |
| 2003 | Received recognition from the Tennis Association of Slovenia for hosting the FED CUP match between Slovenia and Russia from the 19th to the 20th of July 2003. |
| 2004 | Received recognition from the Tennis Association of Slovenia for hosting the FED CUP match between Slovenia and USA from the 24th to the 25th of April 2004. Received recognition for favourable inclination towards sport in the municipality of Piran in 2004, from ŠC Piran and the ‘Primorske novice’ newspaper. |
| 2007 | Enes Lojo received an award for life’s work awarded by Radio Koper and the ‘Primorske novice’ newspaper. |
